Trial: A judge presides, the state must prove guilt, and witnesses may testify.
The Verdict: The judge decides guilt and, if necessary, orders a predisposition report.
Predisposition Reports: Detailed reports on the juvenile's background and circumstances aid in sentencing recommendations.
Dispositional Hearings: Sentencing proceedings where the judge decides probation or commitment to a DJJ program or juvenile prison.
